Manufacturing in EVE Online is the process of turning raw materials and refined components into finished goods such as ships, modules, ammunition, drones, and structures. It sits at the heart of the game’s player-driven economy, taking inputs from mining, reactions, planetary industry, and salvage, and converting them into usable assets that fuel every aspect of gameplay. Manufacturing is performed using blueprints installed in industry facilities, with each job requiring specific materials, time, and sometimes system bonuses depending on structure type, rigs, and location.

As players progress in industry, manufacturing expands from simple Tech I production into more advanced activities such as Tech II invention-based production, capital ship construction, and structure assembly. Efficiency becomes a key focus, with industrialists reducing material waste through blueprint research and optimizing job costs through careful facility selection and tax management. Large-scale manufacturers often operate entire supply chains, coordinating logistics and market sales to maintain profit margins. Because ships and equipment are constantly being destroyed in PvP and PvE, manufacturing remains one of the most consistently in-demand and strategically important professions in New Eden.
