Advanced production in EVE Online refers to the high-end industrial processes used to create Tech II, Tech III, capital, and supercapital ships and equipment. Unlike basic manufacturing, advanced production relies on complex supply chains that combine multiple disciplines including invention, reactions, planetary interaction, and moon mining. Tech II production, for example, requires blueprint invention and specialized components derived from reacted materials, while capital ship construction demands vast quantities of refined minerals and advanced components produced across multiple industrial stages.

This level of industry is highly logistics-heavy and typically operated by established corporations or alliances due to the scale of investment and infrastructure required. Efficiency is critical, with industrialists optimizing every stage from raw resource acquisition to final assembly using refineries, engineering complexes, and carefully chosen system bonuses. Advanced production also plays a strategic role in nullsec and wormhole space, where local resource control can translate directly into military and economic power. As a result, mastery of advanced industry is often what separates casual manufacturers from major industrial powerhouses in New Eden.
